SMARTER STRATEGIES. FASTER EXECUTION. I www.tangoanalytics.com I PAGE .8 Strategic SLM enables you to streamline all Store Lifecycle Management execution activities, including program and project management, to deliver on real estate strategies faster with lower cost and increased visibility. How has Strategic SLM helped retailers? Here are a couple of customer examples. Our customer survey process continually surveys who is shopping, where they are coming from and where they are going after, and the information gathered and analyzed has a direct impact on defining trade areas. If the trade areas change, the analytic models adapt to reflect the change. This may in turn affect your mission critical decisions such as where to build a store, what type of store to build and the impact of remodels. Going back to Dunkin' Brands, it was having this logic embed- ded in Tango that enabled them to make the decision to move their location. As their VP of Franchising, Grant Benson explained: "The application told us the demographics in this area had really shifted over time. People aren't as likely to get out and have a cup of coffee in the morning here anymore. They're getting it on the way to something else."v A change in their consumer profile had a definite impact on what type of location would yield the best sales results. Dunkin' Brands has opened more than 1,000 locations using our models. For a restaurant company like Del Frisco's, they were able to take advantage of expansion opportunities based on predic- tive customer and location modeling done by Tango. The robust customer profile and trade area model we built, enabled them to optimize every market in the United States to determine the best opportunities for concept growth. The analysis included online customer surveying of each restau- rant in the chain to determine work, home and occa- sion-based visit patterns, which lead to intelligent trade area modeling and customer profiling. Del Frisco's Grille now has a precise understanding of how to optimize their existing portfolio across different strategic moves including new stores, renewals, remodels, expansions and closures, to achieve maximum brand penetration while still protecting current portfolio sales. Tango The most common comment we get from clients and prospects alike is "your solution works like we think." This is actually not surprising. Our vision for the industry looks beyond point solutions and beyond execution. Our perspective and approach is fundamentally different and is driven by years of experience and expertise combined with the insight and know-how of the industry's most innovative thinkers. Our solution has the benefit of input and expertise from the pioneers of GIS, predictive analytics and IWMS/SLM.
