Establish Neighborhoods
In order to manage your space effectively and
fully understand how it's being used, you need
to document more specific information about
the people who occupy it. With Tango Space,
you can include details about employees like
their:
Employment type (permanent, temporary,
contractor, etc.)
Work model (on-site, hybrid, remote)
Seating type (office, workstation, etc.)
Closest building
You can establish a complete department
hierarchy, enabling you to report on space
utilization by department.
Office neighborhoods are a common fixture of
hybrid workplaces, but they're not always
managed like a typical reservable space. They
may be assigned to a specific team,
department, or purpose, where these people
won't always occupy the space, but can use it
as needed without a reservation. Others may
be assigned to a group of employees but still
require a reservation.
Tango Space lets you set neighborhood
parameters—whether they're assigned or
unassigned—and you can set flex ratios to
track and control the relationship between the
number of neighborhood workstations and
number of employees. For example, you might
set a neighborhood flex ratio of 0.3, meaning
that for every 10 employees, there are three
vvv
neighborhood workstations available. As your
employee population changes, you can adjust
the size and number of neighborhoods
accordingly.
