Office Hoteling Blunders: 10 Mistakes to Avoid
5
3. Using multiple reservation
systems
Nobody wants to use ten different work applications before
they even get to campus. But companies f requently adopt
the first hoteling solution they find, unaware that it doesn't
satisfy all of their unique needs.
Some reservation systems may have been built for
conference rooms, so they feel clunky and unwieldy when
you try to make workstations reservable. Or they can't
handle equipment reservations, so your design department
has to get their own system for checking out cameras,
microphones, and other shared resources. Maybe you have
yet another program for reserving amenities. And one more
for parking reservations.
This needlessly complicates the hoteling process and makes
it more difficult for employees to access company resources.
And that means you either have to get employees to adopt
multiple systems for the same types of activities, or you have
to start over with a more robust program.
Tango Reserve can handle reservations
for every type of space and equipment
you need. Employees can easily filter
options and find shared resources
through a single intuitive dashboard.
