As the reporting landscape evolves, companies should be
aware of the most relevant frameworks and upcoming
changes to make informed decisions. In this section, we
provide guidance for both businesses new to reporting and
seasoned reporters on selecting the right frameworks and
staying up-to-date with new standards and regulations in
2023. It takes an average of 12–18 months for companies to
prepare for partial disclosure, and two to three years for full
disclosure. Action is required today to ensure that companies
are prepared for the upcoming regulatory changes, and to
avoid an increase in pressure from investors, as well as scrutiny
from customers and the media.
